Automotive carbon ceramic brake disc
The carbon ceramic brake disc is a multiphase composite material brake disc reinforced with high-strength carbon fibers and using pyrolytic carbon, silicon carbide, etc. as the matrix. It features lightweight (with a density one-third that of cast iron discs), high temperature resistance (with a limit temperature of 1350°C), long lifespan (able to meet the 300,000-kilometer driving demand of the entire vehicle lifespan), corrosion resistance (non-rusting, resistant to acid, alkali, and salt erosion), no thermal fade, high and stable friction coefficient, and safety and reliability (reducing braking distance by 20%-30%). The surface of the automotive brake disc can be coated with a special wear-resistant ceramic friction layer to achieve efficient and stable braking.
