Asphalt-based soft felt
Pitch-based soft felt is a high-performance thermal insulation material made from pitch-based carbon fibers through processes such as needling and hot pressing. It inherits the advantages of pitch-based carbon fibers, including high strength, high modulus, and chemical resistance, while also possessing excellent thermal conductivity and good thermal stability. It is widely used as insulation and heat shield layers in high-temperature equipment such as photovoltaic, semiconductor, and vacuum heat treatment systems.
Viscose-based soft felt
Viscose-based soft felt is a high-temperature thermal insulation material made from viscose fibers as the precursor of carbon fibers, through processes such as impregnation, carbonization, and graphitization. Viscose fiber, derived from natural plant-based regenerated fibers, has inherently strong water absorption properties. As a result, viscose-based felt is smoother and superior in insulation performance. It is a crucial material in high-temperature thermal field applications such as semiconductors (monocrystalline silicon, silicon carbide crystal growth furnaces), photovoltaics, and heat treatment.
PAN-based soft felt
PAN-based soft felt is a high-performance thermal insulation material made from PAN-based carbon fibers as the original yarn, through processes such as pre-oxidation, carbonization, and graphitization. As the raw material for production, PAN-based fibers (i.e., polyacrylonitrile fibers) do not contain oxygen elements, making pre-oxidation an essential process step. As a thermal insulation material, PAN-based soft felt exhibits strong oxidation resistance, long service life, and superior performance.
